The Challenge

Pioneering a new way to experience live golf

The Solution

We leveraged cutting-edge technology to create a high accuracy replica of Royal Liverpool

Drone scanning and LiDAR technology were the first steps of the process that allowed us to deliver the high-fidelity experience needed to enhance the fan experience. Live tournament data was then streamed directly into the experience, allowing spectators to follow player positions, live scoring and broadcast-synchronised visualisations as play unfolded.

Response

A long-term partnership

The platform established the workflows, technology and real-time data pipeline that would go on to power future installations for NTT DATA at The Open Championship and the BMW International Open, forming the foundation of a long-term partnership. Built during a three-month development sprint, the project combined a high-fidelity digital twin with a custom real-time data pipeline, enabling live tournament information to drive the experience with only seconds of latency.
